This page explains the terms for using the htx-labs.com website and the HyperTrader software.
1. Who we are
htx-labs.com ("the Site") and the HyperTrader software are maintained and distributed by the HyperTrader project and its maintainers ("we", "us", "the project"). The project is not currently incorporated as a company. You can reach us at [[CONTACT EMAIL]].
2. What HyperTrader is
HyperTrader is free, self-hosted, open-source software distributed under the [[SOFTWARE LICENSE]] license. The Site provides information, documentation and setup tooling only. We do not operate the software for you, host any instance for you, hold your funds or keys, place or execute any trades, or have access to your accounts.
3. No financial advice
Nothing on the Site or in the software is financial, investment, legal or tax advice. Copy-trading and automated order mirroring carry substantial risk, including total loss of capital. You are solely responsible for your trading decisions.
4. Self-hosting and your responsibilities
You install and run the software on infrastructure you control. You are responsible for your server security, your API and private keys, your configuration and risk limits, and for complying with the laws, regulations and exchange terms that apply to you.
5. Software provided "as is"
The software is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Your use of the software is also subject to the terms of its open-source license.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we accept no liability for any loss of funds, missed or erroneous trades, downtime, or any direct, indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the Site or the software.
7. Acceptable use
Do not use the Site to break the law, infringe others' rights, or attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorised access to the Site or its infrastructure.
8. Third-party services
Deploying and running the software may involve third parties (for example Hyperliquid, DigitalOcean, Hetzner and Let's Encrypt). Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies; we are not responsible for them.
9. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The "last updated" date above shows the current version. Continued use of the Site after changes means you accept the updated terms.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the country in which the project's maintainers are ordinarily resident, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. [[If you later incorporate or choose a home jurisdiction, name the governing law and competent courts here.]]
